葡萄園之歌
聽我為我所親愛的唱一首歌，
一首關於我所愛的和他的葡萄園的歌：
在肥沃的小山上，
我所愛的開闢了一個葡萄園。
葡萄園之歌
我要為我所親愛的唱歌，
是我所愛者的歌，論他葡萄園的事：
我所親愛的有葡萄園在肥美的山岡上。
Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill: a very...: Heb. the horn of the son of oil
2 他挖泥土，清除石頭；
他種植了品種優良的葡萄。
他造了一座高塔做瞭望臺；
他挖了一個踩踏葡萄的池子。
他期待葡萄的成熟，
不料，一顆顆葡萄又酸又澀。
2 他刨挖園子，撿去石頭，
栽種上等的葡萄樹，
在園中蓋了一座樓，
又鑿出壓酒池；
指望結(好)葡萄，
反倒結了野葡萄。
2 And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes. fenced: or, made a wall about made: Heb. hewed
3 於是，我所親愛的說：「耶路撒冷和猶大的居民哪，你們對葡萄園和我的事評評理吧。
3 耶路撒冷的居民和猶大人哪，
請你們現今在我與我的葡萄園中，斷定是非。
3 And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard.
4 是不是我沒有好好地照顧？為甚麼它出產酸葡萄，而不出產我所期望的甜葡萄？
4 我為我葡萄園所做之外，
還有甚麼可做的呢？
我指望結(好)葡萄，
怎麼倒結了野葡萄呢？
4 What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?
5 「看吧，我要這樣處理我的葡萄園：我要拔除四周的籬笆，拆掉保護它的圍牆，讓野獸來吃園子裏的果實，並糟蹋它。
5 現在我告訴你們，
我要向我葡萄園怎樣行：
我必撤去籬笆，使它被吞滅，
拆毀牆垣，使它被踐踏。
5 And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down: trodden...: Heb. for a treading
6 我要讓地上長滿野草；我不修剪葡萄藤，也不挖鬆土地；我要讓地上長滿蒺藜荊棘。我甚至要禁止雲降雨水。」
6 我必使它荒廢，不再修理，
不再鋤刨，荊棘蒺藜倒要生長。
我也必命雲不降雨在其上。
6 And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.
7 以色列就是上主─萬軍統帥的葡萄園；
猶大人民就是他細心栽培的葡萄樹。
他盼望他們實行正義，
但殺人流血之事有目共睹。
他盼望他們行為正直，
但喊冤叫屈之聲到處可聞。
7 萬軍之耶和華的葡萄園就是以色列家；
他所喜愛的樹就是猶大人。
他指望的是公平，
誰知倒有暴虐；
指望的是公義，
誰知倒有冤聲。
7 For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry. his...: Heb. plant of his pleasures oppression: Heb. a scab
人的惡行
8 你們要遭殃了！你們已經有田地房屋，還貪圖更多的田地房屋。別人連住的地方都沒有，你們竟把這一大片土地獨佔了。
人的惡行
8 禍哉！那些以房接房，
以地連地，
以致不留餘地的，
只顧自己獨居境內。
8 Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth! they: Heb. ye
9 我聽見上主─萬軍的統帥這樣說：「這些豪華大廈都要荒廢，無人居住。
9 我耳聞萬軍之耶和華(說)：
必有許多又大又美的房屋
成為荒涼，無人居住。
9 In mine ears said the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant. In...: or, This is in mine ears, saith the LORD, etc Of a...: Heb. If not, etc
10 十公頃的葡萄園頂多釀十公升的酒；十籃麥種還收不到一籃麥子。」
10 三十畝葡萄園只出一罷特(酒)；
一賀梅珥穀種只結一伊法(糧食)。
10 Yea, ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and the seed of an homer shall yield an ephah.
11 你們要遭殃了！你們一早起來就喝烈酒，整個晚上喝得酩酊大醉。
11 禍哉！那些清早起來追求濃酒，
留連到夜深，甚至因酒發燒的人。
11 Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them! inflame: of, pursue
12 在宴會上，你們欣賞豎琴、鈴鼓、簫笛，消耗大量的酒，卻不明白上主的作為。
12 他們在筵席上
彈琴，鼓瑟，擊鼓，吹笛，飲酒，
卻不顧念耶和華的作為，
也不留心他手所做的。
12 And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands.
13 因此，你們要被放逐；你們的領袖要餓死，人民要渴死。
13 所以，我的百姓因無知就被擄去；
他們的尊貴人甚是飢餓，
群眾極其乾渴。
13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst. honourable...: Heb. glory are men of famine
14 陰間正張開大口要吞吃他們，把在耶路撒冷作樂的顯要和狂歡的人民一齊吞滅。
14 故此，陰間擴張其欲，
開了無限量的口；
他們的榮耀、群眾、繁華，
並快樂的人都落(在其中)。
14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
15 每一個人都蒙羞辱；驕傲的人要貶為卑微。
15 卑賤人被壓服；
尊貴人降為卑；
眼目高傲的人也降為卑。
15 And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:
16 上主─萬軍的統帥以主持公義彰顯自己的偉大；神聖的上帝以審判子民顯示自己的神聖。
16 惟有萬軍之耶和華因公平而崇高；
聖者上帝因公義顯為聖。
16 But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness. God...: or, the holy God: Heb. the God the holy
17 荒廢了的城市長滿野草，小羊在那裏吃草，小山羊也在那裏找食料。
17 那時，羊羔必來吃草，如同在自己的草場；
豐肥人的荒場被遊行的人吃盡。
17 Then shall the lambs feed after their manner, and the waste places of the fat ones shall strangers eat.
18 你們要遭殃了！你們已經被罪惡過犯套住了。
18 禍哉！那些以虛假之細繩牽罪孽的人！
他們又像以套繩拉罪惡，
18 Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope:
19 你們說：「讓上主趕快做他要做的；我們倒要看看他的作為。讓以色列神聖的上帝實行他的計劃吧；我們倒想知道他的意念。」
19 說：任他急速行，趕快成就他的作為，
使我們看看；
任以色列聖者所謀劃的臨近成就，
使我們知道。
19 That say, Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it : and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it !
20 你們要遭殃了！你們是非不辨，光暗顛倒，甜苦不分。
20 禍哉！那些稱惡為善，稱善為惡，
以暗為光，以光為暗，
以苦為甜，以甜為苦的人。
20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! call...: Heb. say concerning evil, It is good, etc
21 你們要遭殃了！你們還自以為聰明伶俐呢！
21 禍哉！那些自以為有智慧，
自看為通達的人。
21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! in their own sight: Heb. before their face
22 你們要遭殃了！你們只是些酒囊飯袋；你們的勇敢和膽量只在鬥酒的時候表現出來。
22 禍哉！那些勇於飲酒，
以能力調濃酒的人。
22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
23 你們讓賄賂你們的人逍遙法外，卻剝奪無辜者的權利。
23 他們因受賄賂，就稱惡人為義，
將義人的義奪去。
23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
24 所以，正像乾草在烈火中焚燒一樣，你們的根要枯乾，你們的花朵要凋謝；因為你們違背了以色列神聖上帝的法律，拒絕了上主─萬軍統帥的教導。
24 火苗怎樣吞滅碎稭，
乾草怎樣落在火焰之中，
照樣，他們的根必像朽(物)，
他們的花必像灰塵飛騰；
因為他們厭棄萬軍之耶和華的訓誨，
藐視以色列聖者的言語。
24 Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel. fire: Heb. tongue of fire
25 因此，上主要向他的子民發烈怒；他要伸出手來責打他們。山要震動，死屍堆在路旁，像垃圾一般。到那時，上主的怒氣仍未消除，他還要伸手責打他們。
25 所以，耶和華的怒氣向他的百姓發作。
他的手伸出攻擊他們，山嶺就震動；
他們的屍首在街市上好像糞土。
雖然如此，他的怒氣還未轉消；
他的手仍伸不縮。
25 Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. torn: or, as dung
26 上主要發出訊號呼召一個遙遠的國家( 「一個遙遠的國家」：希伯來文是「遠方諸國」。)；他要吹哨，從地極把他們召來；他們要迅速敏捷地來到。
26 他必豎立大旗，招遠方的國民，
發嘶聲叫他們從地極而來；
看哪，他們必急速奔來。
26 And he will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from the end of the earth: and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly:
27 他們當中沒有疲倦的，也沒有跌倒的；他們既不打盹也不睡覺。他們的腰帶束緊，鞋帶繫好。
27 其中沒有疲倦的，絆跌的；
沒有打盹的，睡覺的；
腰帶並不放鬆，
鞋帶也不折斷。
27 None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken:
28 他們的箭銳利；他們的弓上了弦。他們的馬蹄比石頭還硬；他們戰車的輪子像旋風轉動。
28 他們的箭快利，
弓也上了弦。
馬蹄算如堅石，
車輪好像旋風。
28 Whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent, their horses' hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind:
29 他們的兵士吶喊，像獅子吼叫，像幼獅獵到了野獸，沒有人能搶走。
29 他們要吼叫，像母獅子，
咆哮，像少壯獅子；
他們要咆哮抓食，
坦然叼去，無人救回。
29 Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it .
30 那日子來到的時候，他們要對以色列怒吼，像海發出呼嘯。你們看這個國家吧，到處黑暗愁苦！光明被黑暗吞滅了。
30 那日，他們要向以色列人吼叫，
像海浪匉訇；
人若望地，只見黑暗艱難，
光明在雲中變為昏暗。
30 And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof. sorrow: or, distress and the light...: or, when it is light, it shall be dark in the destructions thereof
