並要幫助你的耶和華如此說： 我的僕人雅各， 我所揀選的耶書崙哪， 不要害怕！ | Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen. |
| 44:3 | 我要降甘霖給乾渴的土地，
要使沙漠湧流清泉。 我要賜力量給你的兒女， 要賜福給你的子孫。 | 因為我要將水澆灌口渴的人，
將河澆灌乾旱之地。 我要將我的靈澆灌你的後裔， 將我的福澆灌你的子孫。 | For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring: |
| 44:4 | 他們要滋長像水邊的青草，
繁茂像河畔的楊柳。 | 他們要發生在草中，

萬軍的統帥─救贖主這樣說： 我是開始，我是終結； 我以外沒有上帝。 | 耶和華－以色列的君，
以色列的救贖主－萬軍之耶和華如此說： 我是首先的，我是末後的； 除我以外再沒有(真)神。 | Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. |
| 44:7 | 誰能跟我相比，讓他提出證據！
誰能做我做過的事？ 誰能預言將來的事？ 讓他把要發生的事宣佈出來！ | 自從我設立古時的民，
誰能像我宣告，並且指明，又為自己陳說呢？ 讓他將未來的事和必成的事說明。 | And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them. |

我不是早已把古今的事都預言了嗎？ 你們就是我的證人。 我以外，還有別的上帝嗎？ 還有其他大能力的神我沒有聽見過嗎？ | 你們不要恐懼，也不要害怕。

| 44:20 | 這不是拿灰充飢嗎？他的愚蠢使他糊塗，無可救藥；他不承認捧著的偶像根本不是神。 | 他以灰為食，心中昏迷，使他偏邪，他不能自救，也不能說：「我右手中豈不是有虛謊嗎？」 | He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand? |

使占卜的癲狂， 使智慧人退後， 使他的知識變為愚拙； | That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish; |
